The San Angelo Chapter of Football Officials is governed by the Texas Association of Sports Officials (TASO), which serves most high school and junior high school sports in the state of Texas.  TASO works directly with the University Interscholastic League (UIL), governing body of the public schools in Texas.  Private schools also request the service of our chapter.

Every year, before the season, we make agreements with local schools and districts to provide football officials for their varsity and sub-varsity football games.  Then, we assign officials to work these games.  The schools pay the official directly for his/her services.  Our officials are considered independent contractors.

We are always looking for new officials to join our chapter.  If you are interested in joining our football chapter, please complete the Membership Application Form and Chapter Policies Form and turn them in at our weekly meeting.  The TASO-Football policies are outlined below under the Chapter Guidelines heading.

The 2016 football board meetings are open to the membership.  We will meet on:

Monday, March 7, 2016 @ 5:30 p.m.
Monday, April 4, 2016 @ 5:30 p.m.
Monday, May 2, 2016 @ 5:30 p.m.
